Hi everyone, my name is Chris and I'm new to the JDM scene.
I've had 3 Saturn SC's (irrational love that has finally died), an Alero, and 2 MINI Cooper S's.
First was a SC1 Auto t-boned twice. I then got an Alero. I had it 7 months and my wife (then girlfriend) rolled it down the side of a highway (she was fine besides some seat belt burns).
The second Saturn was a SC2 Manual. It was junk really, but my first clutch, so it was fun to whip around. I traded that in for a '03 MINI Cooper S.
The MINI was supercharged from stock. It was fun. So much so I lost my license for 10 months due to extreme speeding and a unrelenting officer. Lesson learned. I left that car stock the whole time.
That car developed tranny issues so I traded out of it for a 2007 MINI Cooper S. This one is turbo'd. This has been my baby. I've spent a lot of time and effort in this one. It's my garage queen as its turned into a track car. I could list off every thing that has been done but I won't bother. Its no record holder or anything like that, its just my pride and joy. I still have this one.
My third Saturn I still have. It's a '99 SC2 Auto. I bought it as my winter beater so I didn't have to drive the MINI. Its getting sold though because I just bought a '06 RSX Type-S A-Spec.
I hated that the Saturn was an auto. Too boring. But I bought it for $400 so I dealt with it. Its in great condition. But when the RSX popped up I had to have it.
So here I am 2 days later researching all that I can. For anyone who read this whole thing, thanks for taking the time :thumbsup:
