At first i thought it was chain slap but this sound only presents itself on cold starts when i am driving not on a stand still. The sound may pick up more if i am turning or going at a faster speed. The sound comes and goes, most of the time if i let it warm up it will never present itself.
it does not sound like it has anything to do with a chain hitting something. Perhaps something is loose? CV Axle perhaps?
From what i read on crsx the timing chain does go out at high mileage. I am currently at 140k.
