The DC5 Type R Brembos on my car are only about 1-2mm from the rims (in front, of course). The clearance is pretty close to even from the top to bottom of the caliper; the shape of the inner face of the rims is similar to the outer profile of the calipers.
The car will be driven on a bumpy track semi-regularly.
Is 1-2mm of clearance too close to run safely?
