Hey, my name is Ryan, I've got a black 02 RSX type s and I've had it for about a year now but recently it's been damaged because of snow but it's being fixed right now because I just couldn't give it up. Anyways i'm new to forums and I hope I can get a lot of help, I really want to work on my car but as of right now it's in my home state and I'm actually stationed in California. As of right now my car is overall stock but I'm thinking about possibly putting in a turbo but if not then just more of aesthetic things. Any good tips and information is much appreciated. :D

Occasionally we meet up and do videos so i made this account to share videos with you guys and maybe learn a little about the car while im at it, incase i help in on mods/repairs with them.

I just bought an '03 redondo red rsx type s :D i've been browsing the forums for a couple days.

Any reason I can't see threads in several sections, but I know they're there because other threads link to them e.g in the style section, can't really see anything but the compilation of tutorials. It might just be how the forum is, I'm not sure.

For sure there must be some differences. Which year do you guys prefer? My last car was a 2000 Civic so this will be a big step up, at least for me. Need to research the **ish out of this car before I make the splash.

What's up guys, just wanted to swing in and say hi. Had my RSX for a long time, but just got a Mini and am thinking about a K20 swap.

The RSX is a 2003-S with A-Spec kit and suspension. I've got A-Spec rims too, just don't have tires yet. Typical I/H/E mods. Nothing fancy, but still is a fun car. Can't imagine how the Mini would feel with a K20 in it.

New member, question about checking for rust!

Hi guys, I've always wanted to get a type S and now might be the time, there's a car I'm looking at, there is a visible spot of rust by the back right wheel.
My problem is that it is lowered and its hard for me to check for other rust spots.

Any tips/advice?

p.s not sure if this is where I post this but I can't post this in any other section...

Hello All,

Just created an account on here. I have a 2006 RSX Type S. It's at 157K miles and still running great.

Mainly here for tips and advice on maintaining it for longevity. Will consider more performance based enhancements when no longer my DD.

First off, took it to the mechanic to diagnose an issue with shifting. He said that it is a clutch issue. I am looking to change out the clutch and flywheel entirely and would like some advice on brand and type of clutch to get for longevity. It would also be great to find somewhere in the Oakland/Bay Area California to have these parts installed for cheap and good quality service.

Hey everyone, i actually purchased an 02 rsx base with 160,xxx miles on it about a month ago. Im based in Houston and couldn't pass up the deal i got. Paid 1500 for it of course it needed work and whoever did the pain on it previously messed it up the clear was horrible on the hood,roof, and trunk. First think i did was replaced the A/C with a kit and condenser fan because they were not functioning, after that i replaced the oil pan gasket because it was leaking and valve cover gasket. Next on the list in lower control arms. Im actually in the process of painting it right now (did it myself because i like to do everything myself even if it comes out bad its fun to learn).
