Here's what I've encountered the past couple of weeks. When I started using my A/C after the winter it would take a while for it to kick in. I had to play around with the settings to get it going and then it eventually does get going. But I also noticed a weird smell coming out of the vents on initial start up of the A/C, kinda like burning oil but eventually it would go away.
Just over the past couple of days my heat does not turn on at all, maybe only slightly when I drive at higher speeds on the highway. I'm not sure if these 2 things are somewhat related but any suggestions would be appreciated before I look at taking it to a mechanic.
