K24 rsx hesitates when slowly accelerating when vtec hits/grind on cold start up

Just as the title states my rsx slightly hesitates when Vtec hits. If I put it to the floor I don't feel it hesitate. Also when I start my car cold it grinds for a couple seconds. Replaced my starter thinking it was that and it still grinds. I've Read it could possibly be a TCT but I replaced it and all the guides when I put in the k24. Any help on the issues would be appreciated.
