Not sure where to put this, but I figured I'd spread the word so other people don't make the same mistake I did. I don't know if it's the same on the Aussie market cars, but the JDM mounting points of the clutch master cylinder are 75mm (measured from center to center) and the USDM mounting points are 80mm. The EG6 master cylinder I have in my shop is also 80mm.
TLDR: Don't buy a USDM clutch master cylinder for your JDM car because it will not fit.
More detail: My clutch master cylinder took a shit, so I did what any person of intelligence would do. I bought a 7th gen Civic clutch master cylinder part number 46920-S5A-G06 to replace my DC5 master. Turns out the mounting points on USDM master cylinders are wider, and even if they were the same size, the overall unit is longer than the JDM DC5 master. I have a Japanese 7th gen Civic master in the mail, and I will update this thread on whether or not the JDM 7th gen Civic master works on the DC5. I will also include photos once I have all the clutch master cylinders on hand.
