Hi everyone!
I just bought my '04 Type S about 3 weeks ago. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin: Madison. Due to school, I haven't had a whole lot of time to work on her yet. Here are the few things I've done so far to get the car looking a little cleaner before I move into any mods.
Day of Purchase - Visible problems:
Headlights very fogged and yellow-ed, window trim flaking, paint dull and dirty, cracked taillight
Since then:
buffed and waxed paint, fixed flaking window trim, re-cleared headlights, plasti-dipped wheels (temporary to test if I liked black rims before buying a real set), and installed a Kenwood Single DIN head unit I had laying around.
Plans for next couple of weeks:
Replace blown stock struts with either Yonaka or Tein basis Z Coilovers (I know i'm cheap..), Replace cracked left-rear taillight, fix the gaps on the rear hatch
Let me know if you guys have any suggestions or tips :)
Thanks!
