Ok so I recently bought an 03 RSX type S with 91k. This young guy had it sitting in his dad's garage for quite some time because he himself moved to Porto Rico with his mom. His dad was tired of it taking up space in his garage. Anyway, my issue is either going to be with the clutch, trans, master or slave cylinders or somewhere in between. I'm not sure exactly how much the kid knew about cars, but according to him the guy who replaced the clutch left out some sort of part. This was his excuse on why the car has a problem. The problem is that it doesn't always fully go into first and will pop out of first if you're not holding it in there. It hasn't popped out of any other gears, but looks like it may pop out of second sometimes but it doesn't. I dunno if I'm explaining this very well, but I hope someone can offer some good advice before I start to hit and miss on replacing stuff. I'm thinking one possibility is that whoever replaced the clutch didn't know what they were doing. Who knows...but I've gotta figure this out because it'll be my daily driver. Any advice is greatly appreciated!
