As a new guy and a lot of the search info comes from from a decade ago, My head was spinning as to HID's, projector etc, so I thought I'd give stock lights a go as mine were full of water and cloudy.
I bought the $100 model which uses the stock stuff. They came nice and shiney and only had one small issue in that two bulb spring clip, didn't have much of a notch to lock them in.
Getting the bottom located on the bracket first is the key, and the last top bolt is a stretch, but it fastened real tight with no odd gaps. The aiming took many turns of the adjusters and I still might be a bit high. For the price I'm happy as long as they keep the water out.
