cmc to csc ss clutch line question

For those of you that installed a ss braided clutch line did you guys install it with the oem fittings on such as in the first picture? or just bolted it straight up like in the second picture? Or it wouldn't matter with or without that adapter as seen in the first pic?

I know that the banjo goes to the CMC and the other fitting goes to the CSC
