just registered to this site for some good advice. I have RSX2004, 100K. Recently was 4 times in and out of the mechanics with serpentine belt and tentioner; poor job... Week ago could not start, like starter was not turning and if it did, it was like barely cranking. A battery 10 month old, Acura replaced. Then totally died and without a jumpstart would not even fire-up. Went to Autozone they checked V charge in the battery and alternator, all was great. In one hour could not start again. Had another jumpstart and went to Acura. Got changed battery again, checked charging, all was great (according to their reading), no power drain showed anywhere. They told me (Acura) the starter motor needs to be replaced.
Today (30F outside) barely start again, sounds like battery does not have enough power to turn... like turning half way
another guy said it could be an alternator,
please advice. To replace both of these things is about $1000, cannot afford it
