Hello,
New RSX Type S owner here. I bought a pretty used DC5 and was wondering what my options were for stock to basic upgrades? I wouldn't say the suspension is broken but it's definitely old. Feels like the rotors need to be replaced and some fluids need to be changed. Anyone have a good list of things to replace to give it a good refresh? Bushing kit from Energy Performance is on my list.
I was eyeing the A-SPEC coilovers. Is it worth it for the price? I see them on eBay new for $650. This is a daily driver.
Also, are the Type Brembo Big Brakes used from Japan worth it? They're easily around the same price as new A-SPEC coilover but then I would have to get different rims along with dealing with finding rotors that seem to be hard to find.
There is a wobble/oscillation the font end as well. I read up on it and it sounds like it's a problem dealing with loose suspension. The wobble feels like there is snow in the tires (if you have ever dealt with that, you'll know what I mean) except there is no snow in the tire. Any input?
