I busted a tie rod end and totaled my '03 Premium a little over a year ago. I miss my car often, but my posterior still aches from the hard seats. Being a Canadian model, it had heated seats, which was a blessing in that I could alternate between uncomfortably numb and warm but aching on longer drives. A particular ten hour drive makes me shudder at the memory. Other than the excessively firm base of the seat, I liked it a lot. I found the seat back and lumbar support very comfortable. The bolsters too. I'm considering another RSX, but I'll have to address the seats if I do. Has anybody here replaced the cushion foam on an OEM leather seat without reupholstering it too? I'll likely end up with heated seats again, but I expect I can figure out how to swap the element to the new foam or replace it if need be. I'm mostly interested in how well the seat base cover might fit after replacing the foam with something more supportive.
