Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum! I've been in the process of searching for a daily driver that was still a fun car to drive, and the RSX was high on my shortlist. I've just come across one for sale local to me (05 Type-S) which I plan to go see this week and hopefully close the deal if it's a good one... pretty excited!
Already this forum has been really useful for me in researching the car, specs and general issues - so thank you guys! I asked the seller from the outset about any 3rd gear issues and he's been honest and mentioned it's "somewhat notchy". Of course, I'll test drive the thing before committing to any purchase, but how worried should I be about this?
The car has 205k on the clock, but I feel that shouldn't be a problem for this car at all, providing I continue to service it properly. I don't commute for work and this would just be a run-around that I intend to keep for a long time.
