tried to get my new york obd2 inspection today. i have a cat, and all sensors plugged in, enabled, and working. no check engine at all. I cant get the o2 sensors and evap readiness checks to complete without driving it at least a few miles they take forever but will eventually go to complete with no dtc. im using kpro v4 in my 03 base with a k24a swap
well for inspection they turn the car off and plug it in then turn it back on. even running in the shop for like 10+ minutes they still wouldnt turn from not ready to complete so I failed. I could hear them trying to rev it up and hold it at cruising rpm. I dont have a hook up so I cannot plug the laptop in during the inspection, and the car will be turned off then turned back on. So yeah, how do i get around this? its super annoying since they go to ready after driving and i have no codes.
I should add that i am not hitting the clear dtc or anything, but when i turn the car off and then back on the readiness codes go back to not complete. its just the o2 and evap that dont come back to complete almost immediately
