Okay so here's the rundown of this noise that has finally began driving me nuts.
(I'll post the sound clip as a reply since I'm typing this on mobile)
For last 10-15k miles, whenever the car is under load, after going up a hill, or after freeway driving somewhere in the engine its making a quite load chirping noise, like a dying bird. The same sound also occurs when pressing down the clutch while on uneven ground or going up any sort of incline, and also when sitting at idle I can hear something that sounds like a very dim metal on metal contact spinning, like a bearing.
Now, at first I thought it was just a bad belt, so I had the tensioner and belt replaced (105k) miles last week, it went away for a day and then immediately came back. I'm 99% sure its not a TB or ISB because otherwise I could make the sound come and go with clutch release and such, this sound never goes away with any clutch pressing, or throttle pressing, its just always stagnant and then eventually goes away after a couple minutes of idle. I can repeat the sound the loudest by coasting slowly in 2nd or 3rd and fluttering the gas just enough to make the car rock back and forth, it literally sounds like a fucked up whistle going off in the engine bay like I have in the video I'll post.
Strangely enough, I can force the sound to go away by driving the car very hard (8k and such) in 1st and 2nd gear, and the sound goes away for a good 10 minutes no matter what I do after that, but always comes back. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
