Not sure if this counts as ECU "tuning" but I've been reading tons of threads about this for the past two days and haven't really found an actual informed answer. I am trying to swap an EP3's 5 speed transmission into my base auto RSX and I am trying to figure out what parts I would need from an EP3 I would need to use the EP3's ECU without having to get kpro or anything like that. The reason I want to use the EP3 ECU is because I am getting it cheaper than I can find a base 5 speed ECU.
I have pretty much the whole EP3 to use for parts minus a running engine so I can't just swap the entire engine over. So far from what I have found online is that I would need to swap over the EP3 Throttle Body and Intake Manifold to the RSX to get it to work with the ECU. Is there anything else that I would need to do it or is that all? Maybe the wiring harness? Can my stock base harness just be modified to work?
