New headlights

I recently bought an 06 type s. The headlights the guy has on the car are aftermarket I beleive. The headlights are not flush with the fender because the plastic piece that connects it to the car is busted on one of them. I'm wondering if i need to get new headlights to fix the problem or if it's just the bracket I need to replace. And if I do need to get new headlights, can someone point me in the right direction on where to buy a pair that would fit right. And is it as simple as taking the old ones off disconnecting them and connecting the new ones? Thanks
