Replaced my 2006 stock RSX-S induction hose with a Samco hose. On the stock induction hose i noticed the air temp sensor tip slightly protruded into where the air flows. With the Samco hose, the sensor tip does not protrude into where the air flows (since they designed the sensor port slightly longer). It's in, but not as far as it was in the stock hose.
Is it ok if the sensor is in the outlet but the tip not protruding where the air flows? My worry is that its not getting the right air temp reading. Or does the air fill in the entire induction hose and the temp sensor reads correctly?
