Hi everyone. I have a major problem with my heat in my 04 Acura rsx. It blows only cold air. Now it gets to temp fine, no overheat issues, temp on dash is normal. The cable to the valve to the heater core doesn't move. I disconnected it and manually set it to open. Antifreeze is full in rad and overflow tank. Now my issue is I live in north county ny and it's geeting cold. I have a job that I leave at 6am and my windshield won't defrost. I need help asap. The weird thing is my hoses to heater core are both very hot but no heat what so ever inside the car. I am prob thinking there is a flap inside the heater box to go from ac/cold to hot. But I have no clue to get to it. When I change from hot to cold on the dash I can see that the gears on the driver side turn and looks like it's the flap that I am talking about but it makes a cracking noise at the very end. I need heat asap and don't care if it is stuck on heat full blast until I can fix it. Please please help me. I need to get to work, safely and warm. Thank you so much in advance.
