Sorry in advance for the novel below lol but its not complicated just layout what happened throughout the time ive had the car. I have a volt gauge in the car keep in mind.
A year ago i had issues turning the car on sometimes. The volts would be just below 12 then dip to nothing and i would hear clicking as if the car cannot start. Eventually it came to a point where i would need to connect booster pack to my battery to start my car everytime but once the car was ON and running everything worked perfectly fine, expect for the random occasions that i would be stopped at a red light and have music playing, & holding down the brake light etc.. and would see the volts drop low until i let off the brake and bliped the throttle a little then the volts went back to 14. I am working allot and when i am off i am too lazy to go buy a battery so this went on for at least a year of me constantly jumping my car with the booster pack.
I eventually purchased a new OEM battery from Acura. Everything works great for a couple months, dead battery again. So again i keep using my trusty booster pack to start my car for a good year. A friend of mine suggest try buying a used alternator and that it should work fine. So i try and go pick up a used alternator and a used battery cause i figure even a used battery would be better then the battery i have now which has died 100 times at least :p When i bought the alternator they said it was pulled from an RSX and it should work...BELOW is a picture of the alternator i bought

I get everything installed and hopefully use the booster pack for the last time and initially everything seemed working fine, volts were at 14 & car was running fine. I decided to use the other battery i got as this OEM one has died way too many times. I installed the other used battery. Volts reading nothing so i use the booster pack. car starts and again everything is great but then on closer inspection i notice something is off (all lights are flickering slightly even the dash.. as if they are struggling to stay on) i attempted to turn on the headlights (6k HID's) the car felt as if it was about to die and the volt would go to 12 or below but it would go right back up to 14 again. I let the car idle for awhile and the car actually died. sometimes when the fan kicks in the cool the car my lights really start to flicker and volts dip and then again they all come back up. I thought it had something to do with this battery so i put the old OEM one back. Not get this....as soon as i connect both pos/neg cables on the battery i start hearing crackling/buzz sound from the left side of the car where there is a box with an orange cable... above steering pump i think its got something to do with power maybe? then moments later i smell rotten eggs and see smoke coming out of my battery and it was getting hot... i took it out immediately.
And now here i am... posting here... Anyone got any advice?:dontknow:
