Hope you guys can help me, need some help diagnosing a problem with my daytime running lights. The DRL light on the dash is on, and they both refuse to turn on.
First off, previous owner put HIDs in and I haven't had time to poke around there and see exactly how they were installed. However, I haven't had any problems with them and they work fine if I turn the headlights on.

Things I've checked:
- Both bulbs function fine (hooked them up to a 12v battery)
- If I remove the bulbs and measure the voltage at the plug I can see ~10.5V
- If I leave the bulbs in and measure the voltage across the pins there is no voltage
- Contacts on the bulbs are clean so it doesn't appear to be shorting there.
- Fuses are all good (checked them in addition to testing the voltage as described above)
Does anyone have any tips or advice on how to proceed? Thanks in advance!
