Hey guys, so my car has been in the shop for a while. It was in a wreck and getting rebuilt. The airbags on the drivers side went off in the accident. The one in the seat and the main one in the steering wheel. I purchased new seats, since mine were ripped up anyway and a new airbag for the steering wheel. I thought I was going to be getting my car back the other day. I found out that I am going to need to replace the Srs control module and then take the car to the dealership to get the computers reset. I asked the dealership to look up the price for the module and they quoted me at like 700 just for that part. I really do not want to pay that and another 400 just to get it put in the car. Can anyone tell me if I have any other options for the Srs control module. The guy at the garage told me he could send it somewhere and get it redone. But I'm sure that will take forever and my car has been in the garage for 3 months already. Do I have any other options here. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.
