Hey guys. I need help removing the type S stereo. It's the stock double din one. I've already removed the bottom panel for the charger, removed the (2) 8mm bolts, and now I'm stuck on removing the radio unit.
There is literally no space to stick my hand under to push it out, nor is there anywhere to grab onto and pull it out. I've stuck my fingers into that cassette player and tried yanking it out from there, but this mofo is so stuck that the face plate is starting ti separate from the unit.
I also used a plastic wedge tool and went around the radio with no luck and now I am stump. The base models have that cubbie u can easily grab and pull out, but the type S is plain retarded. How did you guys remove it?
