Hi
Im having a hard time figuring out whats wrong with my RSX. Its a 2005 Type S.
The vehicle drives great, no engine over heat or smell from the inside. A little info on it, the clutch was replaced last year but reused the flywheel without any resurface. I made sure I clean it well with brake cleaner like all the DIY threads says.
Sometime over the summer the power steering (pully?) (where the serpentine belt is attached to) bolts snapped off making the car loose power.
AC doesnt work. Not sure if its bad or installed wrong. The compressor doesnt kick when you turn on the AC and it wont charge.
Radiator had problems but was replaced and no overheat since.
These are the only problems or mods I made besides this the car is all stock.
When I drive this car from point A to B the front driver side will have a small light smoke coming from the top of the wheel and both sides will have a strong burnt rubber smell.
could there be a leak or could it be the brake calipers?
I have aftermarket slotted rotors with Hawks HPS pads
Im thinking it cant be the brake caliper because if it was it would be scratching the brake rotor correct?
hope someone can answer this problem for me
