New Clutch/Flywheel caused a leak/whole in transmission

So my stock clutch threw in the towel at 100k on my 06 type s with bolt ons. Due to reviews/recommendations I decided to replace it with the Competition Clutch 1.5 package with light flywheel just like the setup on kseriesparts.com. Installed around July 10 and the car drove great til 2 days ago, my transmission started leaking bad so I brought it to mechanic friend to figure out whats leaking, he said as far as he can see without taking anything apart it was my transmission due improper sealing of the tranny when put back together after the clutch install, and i was extremely low on trans fluid. So I took it to the shop that installed my clutch right away and he said due to aftermarket parts he has to take it apart to make sure its not the install but the part thats causing the leak. Sooooo after getting back in there they discovered a tiny whole in the transmission casing where the oil was leaking out of, that THEY say the clutch or flywheel were grinding against the transmission casing because the fitment seemed to have been slightly too large. there was visible chips and grinds on the clutch and flywheel. now i have to replace the clutch/flywheel/and transmission casing/ or get the casing welded. I was thinking of getting the casing welded and purchase the exedy oem replacement clutch and use my stock flywheel. ill upload a pic soon. Any input on this ??
