The Acura NSX has been named the 2017 AutoGuide.com Readers Choice Car of the Year. After years of anticipation, Acuras latest sports car has finally arrived sporting a hybrid turbocharged powertrain with 573 horsepower and 476 pound-feet of torque. Owning such an exquisite machine will cost $157,800 including delivery, but for some, its a small price to pay for pure enjoyment while behind the wheel. Tipping the scales at 3,800 pounds, the Acura NSX might not be a lightweight but it holds its own on the track. 'This car does such an incredible job making it all feel so natural that its easy to forget that when youre driving the Acura NSX, youre driving the very first in a new generation of exotic cars,' said VP of Content, Colum Wood, in his review of the supercar. With eight different vehicle categories voted for in this years 2017 Readers Choice Awards, Acura took home the coveted title of Readers Choice Car of the Year. Chevrolet earned itself two Readers Choice wins for the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport as the Readers Choice Sports Car of the Year, while the Chevrolet Bolt was named Readers Choice Green Car of the Year. The Readers Choice Luxury Car of the Year honors goes to the Lincoln Continental. In the Readers Choice Utility Vehicle of the Year, the Mazda CX-9 grabbed top honors, while the Readers Choice Luxury Utility Vehicle of the Year was the Jaguar F-Pace. The Ford F-150 Raptor took home Readers Choice Truck of the Year and the McLaren 570S earned Readers Choice Exotic Car of the Year.
