Hey all, finished a retrofit conversion on my 02 headlights a couple weeks ago and have been on the fence with my feelings about them, I like the cutoff but i don't love the brightness/clarity or distance.
To start with a (totally unfair) comparison highlighting the differences between my lights and others:

My retros:
16' Porsche Macan w/ led (though i believe these use a xenon projector as the main headlight with leds for DRL and supplementary light)
10' Porsche Panamera xenons
Obviously I'm not expecting porsche level quality/features....but is there anyway I can get similar clarity.
I actually prefer my sharper cut off, but they just aren't that bright.....currently fitted with 5300k bulbs and cheap generic ballasts(do they really make that much of a difference????)
FYI: I actually have found i prefer some other OEM projectors to those fitted in Porsches, but the porsche lights are more then adequate and its the only make I had multiple available to compare
