I have read on another thread there steps to fix the transistor that regulates the fan that is stuck permanently on while the car is running.
I am wondering if that would also fix the fact that none of the controls work? I cannot change it from low to high, nor can I change the temp of air blowing, or turn on the A/C. Its just steady high fan air that blows constantly.
I wouldn't mind so much since this is Florida, if the A/C would be working still but seeing as its just lukewarm air, it gets pretty uncomfortable after awhile.
Also, I am not that mechanically inclined, although my roommate is somewhat, he worked on his Honda civic a lot, so I know that isn't too much different from my set up.
We can do just about anything with a little instruction. I have next to no money to pay for parts /repairs at a shop.. maybe 50 bucks in couple weeks I could free up but if there is a cheap, at home fix I would greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
