This may be a lot to take in but allow me to Epson my problem and attempted solutions.
Car: 2002 rsx type-s
Modifications:
-jrsc supercharger at 9psi
- OBX race header
- stock catback
- snow meth injection
Problem: the MAP sensor is reading 10psi at idle. It won't allow the car to run for more than 3 seconds at a time. Regardless if I pump the accelerator or not. I've tried a hondata 4 bar map sensor, stock sensor, and speed factory. All were used with the correct scaling via kpro.
I attempted to check the map with the car off to see atmospheric pressure and I'm getting -24 with the engine off and sensor open to atmosphere. It doesn't change much during cranking or running.
The sensor is confirmed getting 5v, ground, and signal via multimeter.
Things I've tried in hopes to repair :
- Adjust valves
- clean throttle body and replace gasket
- change 2 different map sensors
- upload a different calibration to kpro
- reset ecu
- ensure all sensors are correctly connected
- verify TPS is functioning correctly
- there is NO check engine light
My next step: my tuner and I have agreed that the next step would be a new ECU. I've got a Kpro on its way to test out.
Any help from anybody else is appreciated. Thank you!

Very weird MAP sensor readings.
