Vehicle: 2002 Acura RSX type S - VIN JH4DC53062C019119
Problem/Issue: Engine has misfire during start-up; No power to #2 injector during run mode; engine runs for approximately 7 seconds and shuts off.
Diagnosis:
Ran compression check on all cylinders #1- 230psi, #2- 235psi, #3- 230psi, #4 -230psi
Snap on scanner - read PO341 cam position sensor; R/R sensor; no change - engine runs for approximately 7 seconds and shuts off
Snap on scanner will not give me injector duty cycle/pulse width signal
Fuel pump cycles for 2 seconds to prime system
Good fuel pressure 47 psi at fuel rail
Pulled fuel pump from tank very clean
R/R fuel pressure regulator in tank
Removed FUEL AND ADDED NEW FUEL
Checked spark from all 4 coil pack Good spark
Pulled fuel rail and injectors all 4 injectors have a spray pattern DURING CRANKING only
R/R crank shaft position sensor; no change
Attached node light to each injector
Good - #1 NOID LIGHT PULSATES/flashes during cranking AND LIGHT PULSATES during run mode
BAD - #2 NOID LIGHT PULSATES/flashes during cranking AND LIGHT DOES NOT PULSATES during run mode (PROBLEM misfire)Good - #3 NOID LIGHT PULSATES/flashes during cranking AND LIGHT PULSATES during run mode
Good #4 NOID LIGHT PULSATES/flashes during cranking AND LIGHT PULSATES during run mode
